Hi,

would be cool if you could update the NuGet package of MySqlBackup.NET :-)

Thank you!

Hi,

I agree with you.

The NuGet package of MySqlBakcup.NET was initially created/added by guang810828 (One of the team member of this project)
But unfortunately, he had gone inactivity. He did not pass the administration rights of the NuGet package to us.
I had been trying to send message/email to him, but did not receive reply from him.
I had reported this issue to NuGet Management too to re-claim the ownership of the NuGet package,
but I did not receive any reply from NuGet Administrators.

I have a feeling that the user reporting system of NuGet is not well-monitored.

Anyway, I have given up resolving this issue for updating the NuGet package of MySqlBackup.NET.

It is strongly recommended to use the source code directly in the projects.
This is because the pre-compiled binary of MySqlBackup.DLL will only recognize the specific version of MySql.Data.DLL which used to compile MySqlBackup.DLL.
Exception and error will raise if newer or older version of MySql.Data.DLL is referenced/used.

Hi jimjonescodes,

A few days ago, I tried again to contact the people from NuGet management,
and I finally able to contact one of them and reclaimed the administration rights of the NuGet Package of MySqlBackup.NET.

I have just updated the package to current version and it is live now.
